Youth WUW NAMI WALK
Youth WUW Girls Social Club:
As May is mental health awareness month, we are working with the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) to participate in their 5K walk on Saturday, May 17th, in Ridge Road Park, Hartsdale, NY. We will be walking alongside 300 people and organizations to help spread awareness of the importance of mental health. As part of the Youth WUW Girls Social Club, you’ll get the following:
You will get a FREE Youth WUW hat
There will be table vendors to check out
The weather is going to be beautiful for a walk in the park
You will meet wonderful people and make new friends
Our CEO, Maritza Fasack, will lead the crowd in warm-up exercises and dancing before we start the walk. Youth WUW Girls are welcome to join her on stage, but it is not required.
Maritza will also give our club a shout-out from the stage.
If you’re interested, please email us or call us at 914-610-8538 to let us know you’ll be able to join. Additionally, email us your t-shirt size before May 10th and provide us with your parent/guardian's contact info to confirm your attendance and whether they will be able to drop you off and pick you up for the event.
